Fyntro ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By using Fyntro, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (password hash or OAuth token. We never store your raw password).

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including symbols you search, timeframes you view, features you use, and session duration. This helps us improve the product.

Watchlists and Preferences: Symbols you add to watchlists, chart settings, alert configurations, and other preferences are stored to provide a personalised experience.

AI Interaction Data: Queries you submit to the AI chat or analysis features may be processed by third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) to generate responses. We do not sell this data.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details, only a subscription status and customer reference.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies for session management and rate limiting.

• NewsAPI: Financial news
• Neon / PostgreSQL: Database hosting
• Redis (Upstash): Caching
• Sentry: Error monitoring and performance tracking (may capture anonymised request metadata and stack traces)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).

Usage analytics and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely in anonymised form.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
